This Friday, UofT in conjunction with the UTSB group will be holding it’s first annual Sport’s and Business Conference at William Doo Auditorium.

Their focus for the inaugural year will be the development of Toronto’s largest student-run sports industry conference. When Don Cherry decides to use his soapbox for good he can have a profound effect.
In his Saturday edition he spoke about the importance of wearing a poppy; honouring those that lost their lives for our freedom.

My twitter profile picture has had a poppy, come this remembrance day, for a year.

Military and sports have an amazing blend. Maybe it’s because our armed forces can escape the realities of their job and pretend they are among loved ones cheering for their favourite teams.
